KZ_K Studio | Interstitial Humans | Campaign Video
The Cool Cycle Collection was inspired by the architect, Adolf Loos – a progenitor of modern architecture, the "destroyer of distraction," where ornament and crime were to go together conceptually. Using this concept, co-founders, Karolina Zmarlak and Jesse Keyes, of KZ_K Studio, conceived and developed the fashion video "interstitial Humans," highlighting the intrinsic link between body and spatial interior. Loos specialized in creating efficient, proportionate, and fluid links among functional spaces, launching a network effect (not in today’s digital terms) encouraging human exploration of the "in between" spaces, a kind of spatial precision that one would find crafted in the interior of a supremely designed sailboat. "interstitial Human/s": a video where an ideal harmony of outerwear (which we call clothing) is in line with the furnishings and hallways (we just might call home).
