GCDS Best Looks Spring 2024 Milan – Fashion Channel
GCDS’s Spring 2024 collection is a celebration of Naples, the brand’s hometown, with a focus on the future. Designer Giuliano Calza drew inspiration from his childhood memories and the city’s rich culture to create a collection that is both nostalgic and innovative.
The collection features a mix of materials and textures, from flat ironed raffia to printed leather and see-through beads. Pleats, chains, and hooks are used to evoke the waves and bolts of Naples. And the asymmetrical silhouettes and relaxed fits are sure to appeal to a younger audience.
In addition to the clothes, the GCDS show was also a celebration of Naples. The show was staged in Calza’s headquarters, which was decorated with plastic just like when you’re ready to move. And after the show, 100 students will be invited to see the show again.
