Here’s a behind the scenes look at a recent Harsh Light Photoshoot in Los Angeles. The photoshoot location was at Malibu Beach. Since the lighting was very harsh I incorporated some sunglasses. I photographed everything using the Sony A7IV paired with the Sigma 24-70mm 2.8
I’m starting to prefer shooting in harsh light just a couple of hours before golden hour. I find myself getting more shots and not running out of light. This was an amazing Harsh Light Photoshoot, working with Amanda Williams was a breeze. It definitely helps when you have a good model that knows what she is doing.
The biggest takeaways from this photoshoot is to always prepare for your shoot ex: scouting locations, getting the right model, and adding props if necessary. Hope you found some value in this video!
